Cosmetic plastic jars come in a variety of materials (resins). Plastic cosmetic jars produced from HDPE are the most common and least expensive. It's economical, impact resistant and provides a good moisture barrier. Plastic bottles and jars produced from PET are crystal clear. They are good for alcohol and essential oil barrier properties and have good chemical resistance.
